Gabriel Santos Silva

I am the application manager of the augmented reality solution called UBIK, developing projects for the four units of the Voith companies and external clients as well. Development of projects using the UBIK tool, training, presentations, meetings, collection of requirements are in my daily scope of work always seeking excellence and meeting deadlines, driven to increase efficiency in the maintenance, plant shutdowns, and commissioning areas, saving time, money and materials due the 100% digital working.

Coordinator of the Engineering and Automation Software called Comos, updates, trainings, software improvements, interfaces, problem solving and user support were activities of my daily work. Comos is a key application for the Automation development in the paper and hydroelectric machines that are manufactured and assembled by Voith, we had more than 50 users working everyday on this tool in Brazil, which I gave daily support.

German startup creator of the software COMOS, which was later sold to Siemens. At Innotec I worked with customer care support for the companies Voith, Petrobras (Biggest Brazilian Oil Company), and some projects as Comos development Job-Leader. During my work at Innotec and Voith IT Solutions, I traveled several times to Germany in development projects, tests, training, and meetings aiming at a better quality of information exchanged between Brazil and Germany.

During the 2-year period, I was an IT trainee at Metalplan. The company is in the field of manufacturing air treatment equipment and dryers. My job was user support in general, maintenance of computers, servers, printers, network and software installation, resolution of IT problems and customer service.

My job at Asyst Sudamérica was the first in IT field, at age of 18. Asyst is a large company in the field of customer service and IT support, and during this time I was working inside PEPSICO do Brasil Ltda. My job was hardware assistance in general, equipment maintenance and assembly of meeting rooms; I was also responsible for IT Spare Parts of PEPSICO Company.
