I’m responsible for • setting the directions for the Cloud solutions portfolio • setting of architectural standards for SaaS, and IaaS • the global delivery of the Cloud solutions portfolio on a day to day basis (24*7) • final point of escalation for critical incidents • ensures services are delivered according to the agreed KPI’s • managing the Cloud global supporting teams (multi-vendor; e.g. SaaSplaza, MS Azure) • providing technological and methodical guidance to teams

As the program manager, I was responsible for the overall direction, coordination, execution, control and completion of all OEM related projects (software rollouts). Ensures consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals for all projects managed under the program of the specific OEM. OEM in this context means automotive companies like BMW, PSA and so forth. PMI methodology was applied to all projects.

Business optimization project (data quality improvement) for a bank with global representation. Consulting for impact of BASEL III on the IT infrastructure. Software rollout project for BMW.

The position covered the development, together with the global portfolio team in the US, of standard solutions for customers and the implementation of those solutions in HP data centres. Closely working with customers was also important to understand the needs and addressing those needs to the solution.

Responsible to manage HP Storage and Backup Services in EMEA for more than 120 customers. The services had been delivered out of more than 20 data centers in Europe by 370 employees reporting to me. Annual revenue > 100M €.

Managed global and EMEA wide projects in the infrastructure space, e.g. storage and BuR and application deployment inclusive the underlying infrastructure. Project size varied between 2M $ and 50M $ per year.

Managed EMEA wide IT projects for global customers like GM. For the Y2K remediation worked 9 month in New York to help on Natural/Adabas projects for several banks.

Managed the EDS application development group for the customer GM in the Vienna engine plant. Responsible to manage all local GM systems, including mainframe and client-server.
