Supervisor: Prof. Dr. Didier Rognan I work on several projects related to the search of antagonists/inhibitors for proteins of GPCR and transcription factor families. With this purpose various computer-aided drug design methods are applied, ranging from cavity detection to virtual screening and interaction fingerprinting in order to select potentially interesting compounds.
Computational Chemistry group at Bayer HealthCare AG Identification of target potential for chemistry driven libraries using automated workflows (Pipeline Pilot) for analog searching (within ChEMBL database), grouping, result visualization and reporting followed by automated docking for important target family members.
