Duties: - Category Management process - Margin , price and stock policy - Long-term suppliers portfolio management - Merchandising - Product promotions - Supervision of 30 persons - Whole purchasing procees ( sourcing, contracting, importing)

Responsibility and duties: product development in three main departments in OBI: Living, Technique, Building amounting to 80 % of total turnover. Basic activities: sourcing, procurement, logistic, merchandising, benchmarking. Responsibilities also encompass margin managment, budgeting, negotiations with suppliers. This position supervises 18 persons: 9 product managers and 9 assortment advisors and includes recruiting, coaching and compensation programs.

Because it was start-up business I was in charge of many managerial activities: sales, finance, marketing , purchasing .New comapny required completely new strategy to set from the beginning on. The whole supply chain was being managed by me. Development of the chain was treated equally to current performance. This time I introduced many valued menegerial tools like MBO, Projekt Management and I made the whole financial prospect for the company: NPV, cash flow forecast, ROI etc

In this position I was in charge of the whole North Poland with 18 outlets. I controlled the current activities, established procedure and processes but first of all district company performance ( turnover, margin, tickets). There were additional duties - searching for new real estates for future locations of stores.
