HAPPYCAR GmbH is the largest Europe-wide rental car comparison portal, operating in Hamburg, with platforms in Germany, Switzerland, France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Poland and the USA. My role here involved participating in the agile team to implement a variety of requirements including liaising with partner companies to optimise API integrations for car searches and bookings and reworking key areas of the payment flow to make the platform both PCI and PSD2 compliant.

Delio provide an investment contract distribution network for internal use within global banks and angel investor networks. During my time here I was responsible for implementing feature additions, bugfixes, and refactoring legacy code across the whole tech stack of a microservice architecture, as part of an agile team of 10 developers. Some of the technologies used include: AngularJS, PHP, Node.js, React.js, SQL, MongoDB, Nginx, Git, and JIRA.

Used Node.js and Javascript to develop tools and scripts to assist in automated outbound B2B marketing campaigns, including web scrapers, automated email broadcasts, gmail integration scripts, and a bespoke CMS using Google Sheets. I also used Wordpress to develop two main client-facing websites, with much HTML, CSS and Javascript customisation necessary. These websites also required some further marketing optimization Javascript utilities, such as social media integrations and opt-in overlays.
