I successfully provided companies with consultancy in the areas of IT and Management. As a freelancer, I have collaborated with customers in Switzerland and Germany in areas of: moving to the cloud, deploy core IT business applications, design and rollout IT processes.

Enabled the onboard of the new CEO. Led the design and development of new corporate processes and helped define a new long term corporate strategy.

Lead the product development and internal IT team of Mayors, a leader in the email marketing software in Switzerland. In this position I led the design and development of the company’s new flagship product in the cloud (SaaS) and the migration of all major customers to this new product. Among other achievements was the reduction of overall IT costs by 35% by establishing new IT strategies, perform offshoring and streamline the IT operations.

Responsible for the management of the company's IT department, resulting in an completion of several high profiles projects, rollout of major business applications, establishment of a IT governance model based on ITIL, while meeting all required SLAs and keeping IT costs 20% percent under budget.

Oversaw the company’s IT Infrastructure department with a staff of 50, responsible for the data centers, global network infrastructure, user workstations and 1st and 2nd IT support. Designed and oversaw the implementation of the two corporate data centers in California (US) and Zürich (Switzerland). Consolidated 80% of servers and applications from corporate branches around the world. Reduced costs and improved reliability by virtualising a significant part of the data center infrastructure.

Responsible for the EMEA IT organization (Help Desk, and datacenter Infrastructure IT Support). I defined a new strategy to evolve from a collection of independent IT teams and dispersed IT infrastructure towards a global IT organization. Successfully proposed to Executive Board the implementation of corporate Datacenters and the initiation of a process of standardization and consolidation of the IT infrastructure in EMEA.

Responsible of the IBM IT e-business delivery organisation, witjh direct responsibility over +5000 multivendor servers (IBM, SUN and HP), from aprox 30 customers and +11000 desktops in Spain and Portugal.
