My current position at Barclays is as a Reconciliations Analyst which is to analyse and reconcile all bank/depot/balance sheet accounts across all asset classes to the unit trust manager statements, breaks investigation etc. I also act as key point of contact (SME) and support for Indian team post migration, handle escalations at management level etc apart from supervising and monitoring a team in India to ensure daily SLAs are met. Also I prepare and send MIS reports to senior management.

Was responsible for the timely and accurate settlement of Global Equity products adhering to local rules and regulations, by pre-matching pre-settlement date and fail prioritizing based on buy-in risk post settlement date. Also was responsible to resolve and verify trading breaks from discrepancies dealing with security information, trading date and settlement date, executed quantity, taxes, commission, prices, and settlement locations.

Was responsible to conduct variance analysis in order to reconcile company reports to the trustee report and interact with concerned individuals in various departments to provide quicker responses to customer’s needs. Also was responsible to adeptly carry out daily bank balancing and ensuring that previous day's balances ties out with custodial accounts. Finally had to proactively involve in research as well as clearing of out of compliance reconciliation items in the client’s accounts.

Prepared a competitors analysis in the document logistics sector under the marketing sales director for the company and an analysis on the strengths and weaknesses of the current and potential competitors.
