Leading a team of engineers, technicians and operator. The group operates various test facilities in laboratory scale but also a complex Pilot Plant which is a so called BimSchG plant with wide regulatory requirements. Main focus of group is sample production and process development activities.

Building new team for new complex pilot plant and integrating into existing group for lab test stations. Preparing new pilot plant operations with all necessary tools, basics and procedures to fulfill internal, but also all regulatory requirements of a so called BimSchG plant (dealing with authority permit regulations). Implement all necessary safety (process and work safety) procedures that are necessary to operate a plant for hazardous material. Planning and mainly responsible for plant commissioning.

Leading the technology part of a project to design and build a high complex Pilot Plant during feasibility, prebasic, basic and detail engineering. Also responsible for plant and process development including of adopting the technology of producing synthetic rubber, as well as planning the infrastructure of this new plant, supporting permit application and working on the financial aspects (CAPEX/OPEX).

Supporting a project during value engineering and a technical risk assessment, as well as contributing in equipment and process development. Leading a project to design and develop a demonstration plant of a new innovative biomass gasifier technology for producing syngas. This included also doing the process engineering, cost calculations and adapting all to several approaches for plant integration.

Working as a project engineer in coordinating plant modifications after a HAZOP study for a gasifier unit but also for a Fischer-Tropsch syntheses. Taking over responsibility as a Leader of a process development group. Building a team and aligning the team to support a new build demonstration plant of a complex biomass gasifier technology. Organizing structured problem solving, contributing to equipment and process development and supporting the project team for further plant evaluations.

Taking over responsibility as a project manager of small and medium sized projects in the chemical industry. Working together with all necessary specialist divisions and subsections needed to design and operate chemical plants in a chemical park. Doing a wide range of process engineering incl. process simulations. Also working as run plant engineer and process engineer in small and big chemical plants. Doing the first project dealing with process development.
