As a research associate, I am proud to support the impressive research work of my PhD supervisor, Prof. Dr. Frank Westerhoff, and to give a weekly computational exercise on financial market dynamics for graduate students.

Attended local events, webinars and conference calls on current regulatory issues relevant to the banking sector. Analyzed reports and reform papers by IIF-member institutions as well as supra- and international organizations to develop précises for several IIF working groups. Supported – as a member of the IIF working group on Anti-Money Laundering and Counter Terrorist Financing – an international team in elaborating a comment letter on current issues in international correspondent banking.

Office assistance, personnel disposition and HR management (part-time job besides my studies) Supervised and analyzed the day-to-day personnel data, and assisted the accounting and marketing team. Conducted job interviews and analyzed the suitability of applicant profiles with respect to vacant positions. Took accountability for customer service, managed incoming client inquiries, processed the requests in collaboration with the team, and elaborated customer-oriented employee profiles.

Personnel Disposition and HR Management (five internships) Observed and analyzed the local employment market and elaborated and updated market-research papers. Performed essential office administrative and disposition duties.

Community Service: Tutor for mentally and physically disabled children.

My study and research interests are mainly concerned with dynamics, interactions and interdependences of financial and real markets; stock, bond and foreign exchange markets; heterogeneous agent-based models; and bounded rationality approaches.

In 2015, I was enrolled in the American University's Graduate Gateway Program in Washington, DC, focusing on global business and trade. The program comprises academic coursework as well as an internship which I completed at the Regulatory Affairs Department of the Institute of International Finance.

My graduate courses were focused on dynamic agent-based models of financial markets and of the real economy, international macroeconomics, global trade, systemic risk and regulation of financial markets.

During my Bachelor's degree, I completed two exchange semesters at the Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, United Kingdom. The focus of my coursework lied on international business and international economics.

In my undergraduate economics degree, I focused on international macroeconomics, global trade and financial-market dynamics.
