Lead facility with sales of Mio.$ 550 and 850 employees. Installed a CIP to achieve sustainable competitiveness. Status and results were tracked by systematic production management system with structured reports for safety, quality, productivity, logistics and other topics. Initiated and implemented a talent pool for ambitious employees to further develop capabilities and potential. Negotiated with unions location guarantee extension while labor costs were reduced by 20%.

Lead operation facility with sales of Mio.$ 220 and 3.300 employees on 6 locations. Focussed on process stabilization and productivity increase while headcount was doubled. Responsible for product and process transfers from Germany to Romania. Achieved A rating for German OEM got allowance for direct shipments from Romania. Drove business with concentration on key indicators Quality, Delivery and Costs. Coordinated cost reduction and product quality improvement programs like CIP and 6Sigma.

Managed 3 operation facilities in Germany, Czech Republic and Romania with sales of Mio.$ 460,0 and 3.000 employees. Coordinated production network among the plants, established manufacturing footprints (Where to produce which component?) and business strategies (JVs, make or buy analysis

Managed operations facility with Mio.$ 200,0 sales and 600 employees. Fulfilled targets for profit, cashflow, quality, capex and OTD. In charge for Manufacturing Engineering, IT, HR, Logistics, Maintenance, Toolshop and FiCo. Drove programs for cost reduction (operations excellence, six sigma, ve/va). Negotiated with Labor union a location guarantee while labour costs reduced by ~10%. Restructured German plant with product transfer to East Europe facilities.

Lead ~ 100 manufacturing engineers from 15 locations and 3 Product Lines. Controlled and observed capital expenditure budget of Mio.$ 60,0 for investments in new production equipment and processes. Prepared new product launches to achieve customer manufacturing approval . Make or buy analysis for products and components, results presented to management in order to take final decisions. Monthly meetings with plant representatives to track status of product launches and investment projects.

Lead and supervised manufacturing engineers of steering wheel production for locations in Italy, Czech Republic, Germany and Spain. Set common standards for machinery and processes and share best practices for world class quality of steering wheels. Coordinated support of German Process- and Launch Engineers for product launches in all manufacturing plants abroad. Did feasibility studies for make or buy business cases.

Lead 150 operators, foremen and supervisors. Responsible for the production of products for a specific customer group (Daimler, BMW) under efficient utilization of human resources and equipment. Reported to the production manager productivity and quality results achieved.

Facilitated ~ 80 Workshops in operations and administration with management and operator participation. Observed and analyzed operations processes and administrative workflows. Generated ideas for waste reduction, productivity increase or lead time reduction. Followed and tracked idea implementation.

Planned and provided manufacturing equipment for steering wheel and driver airbag module production. In charge for machinery installation, process and new product launch.
