Individual Contractor with UNHCR Regional Protection Support Unit of the Bureau for Europe, Quality Initiative for Eastern Europe Project responsible for (1) development and maintenance of the Platform for Russian speaking lawyers providing direct legal assistance to refugees; (2) regular information updates on the latest ECtHR judgments, ECJ judgments, domestic court decisions, international and national law amendments (including webinars); (3) preparation and dissemination of the weekly news digest.

Researcher in the project #RomaBelong - Statelessness, Discrimination and Marginalisation of Roma in the Western Balkans and Ukraine (jointly with the European Roma Rights Centre, the Institute on Statelessness and Inclusion, the European Network on Statelessness and other partner NGOs); Lead Expert for Ukraine in the Statelessness Index Project of the European Network on Statelessness.

The internship within the framework of the CrossCulture Programme 2017, implemented by ifa (Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen) and funded by the Federal Foreign Office of Germany. Main responsibilities included provision of individual counselling directly at refugee camps; participation in seminars and meetings on the topic of refugee protection.

-Provision of direct legal counselling to refugees; -Support of legal actions and preparation of court claims; -Organisation of three capacity-building trainings on the rights of asylum seekers and refugees for over 40 border guards of Ukraine; -Delivery of presentations on refugees’ rights at the capacity-building trainings for migration officers, police officers, and other state officials.

Gave lectures and seminars in International Criminal Law, International Humanitarian Law, International Human Rights Standards in Criminal Justice, Introduction to Legal Profession.

The co-author of the section “Human Rights during the Armed Conflict and Occupation. Rights of Military Personnel” for the scientific digest “Human Rights in Ukraine: First Term 2015” and “Human Rights in Ukraine - 2015”.

(1) Contribution to the development of the innovative international Master degree programme “International and European law”; (2) Quality-quantitative monitoring over the project implementation and fulfilment.

Collection and procession of documents for the International Criminal Court Legal Tools Database.

(1) Preparation and drafting of legal documents; (2) Support in case preparation for trial proceedings; (3) Maintenance of contacts with clients and external communications.

Conducted research on the topic “Universal Criminal Jurisdiction of States As A Category of International Law” at the International Law and International Relations Department (20 publications on the topic).
