Structured a continuous improvement program for a tier-one German-Chinese automotive joint venture generating €15M in savings across 6 plants in a 2-year period in China.

Drove execution of operations projects related to manufacturing transformation, technical root cause analysis and product/brand development from conception to launch. Guided branding, product development of a massage chair by for a Chinese manufacturing company and brought together key contributors to this project, enabled the client to expand into the holistic healthcare industry in China.

Directed manufacturing transformation and new product introduction for a leading traditional watchmaker entering the wearable-tech market, enabling a global launch of smart watches in 80 SKUs in an aggressive 8-months timeline.

Led creative direction tasks such as brand image, product design and designers. Led operation tasks such as sourcing, supplier management, quality with shared responsibilities for marketing. Successfully launched the brand in 8 months with presentations at Design Edit New York and Design Shanghai shows, garnered features and editorials in Architecture Digest and IDEAT magazines.

Facilitated and followed through on projects related to strategic procurement, operational due diligence (ODD), and market entry frameworks for clients in automotive and industrial sectors. Led the China procurement activities for a German industrial machinery manufacturer, achieved 25% cost savings as part of a global low-cost country sourcing strategy

Appointed to start up Asia branch of technical consulting firm; used strategic strategy development to improve quality. Delivered training and support to ensure client initiatives were met. Utilised proprietary methodology to generate 22% productivity improvement in 4 months for an German-Chinese automotive OEM in Beijing Solved a production quality problem in 13 weeks, avoiding a €150 MN warranty cost at a tier-one automotive OEM as part of a global project team

Advised and coached key production, engineering and management personnel in Shainin’s methodology. • Successfully delivered a 20-months continuous improvement program, training more than 80 key personnel in US and China, improving client’s technical capabilities and generated a 5 times return on investment for a global automotive parts manufacturer.

Utilised engineering principles from initial design phase through product development, testing and roll-out to manufacturing of industrial valves. • Managed company’s first transition to overseas suppliers, identifying and developing successful relationship with Chinese manufacturers • Developed product enhancement to meet then newly introduced European Pressure Equipment Directive to enable continuing sales in Europe
