Currently working as IT Manager & Head of IT Operations at Gazzaz, reporting directly to Chief Operating Officer and managing a team of DBA's, System Administrators & IT Support Engineers. Leading a major business transformation at Gazzaz & its subsidiaries. This includes the implementation of Oracle ERP and the development of new business models. I also head the Oracle ERP practice at Gazzaz.

Head the Oracle ERP practice at Gazzaz & to manage, lead and supervise the Oracle ERP Applications team. To make sure that they meet the Oracle Project deadlines/goals. This includes the implementation of Oracle ERP & the development of Oracle Applications. • End-to-End responsibility for database, storage, UNIX, backup operations & projects. • Responsible for Oracle Technology Operations & Data Management.

Worked as DBA Operations Manager for Internet Services Group (ISG) leading the support & deployments for BillPay, SIMS, Alerts, WWW, Fraud Prevention & vSafe. Worked on Oracle 9i, 10g & 11g systems performing both batch processing & OLTP. Provided DBA support in the Prod, Pre-Prod & Integration Testing (IT) environments to the ISG teams. The environment consists of Oracle RAC, DataGuard and other replication technologies like Streams, Golden Gate & Shareplex. VLDB (3 TB).

Worked with Genpact India (Formerly GE Capital International Services) as Senior Oracle DBA on Oracle 9i & 10g Databases. As an Senior Oracle DBA, I was managing & maintaining multiple large databases of Production, Standby, UAT & Development databases in High Availability (RAC, RMAN, DATAGUARD, STREAMS) architecture and on different operating systems (Linux, Solaris & Windows).

Being a DBA, was responsible for installation & administration of Oracle Database and its tools on various Operating Systems (Unix & Windows). The role also includes installation of Operating Systems. I was responsible for monitoring production & development environment and also responsible for upgradation.

Worked with Indo-American Professional Education Network (IAPEN) as IT Support Engineer responsible for system administration, network administration & desktop support.

Pursued M.Sc (IT) as part of Industry - University Collaboration. It was a very good experience, as I was studying the latest technology trends in the market like Oracle, Datawarehousing, TIBCO and so on.
