Serving as a Member of the Board of SMT Software Services I had the privilege to be at the helm of a company employing 700 people with annual turnover of 100 M PLN. Working hand in hand with some of the most talented and dedicated people we managed to strengthen company’s presence in several European countries including the UK, Germany and the Netherlands.

As Head of Delivery and Maintenance I was responsible for almost 100 customer projects delivered in nearshoring model, including maintenance, execution, pre-sales and new business development. I managed several hundred employees and contributed to organic 30% y/y growth.

Led Program Manager role at SMT involved end to end responsibility (including offering, budgeting and leadership) for projects for key clients from Finance and Energy sector.

A contractor at Microsoft in London. Project Management and Project Owner for a subset of functionalities for Bing search engine. Work in close cooperation with Microsoft's Search Technology Center - Europe.

Transition & Transformation (T&T) project in IT sector for a German customer. Technologies and tools: Oracle, SAP, AIX, Windows 2003, Lotus, MSProject.

A contractor at Vodafone in Duesseldorf, Germany. Responsibility for scope definition, design, implementation, technical side of market introduction and partner negotations. Internet Discovery solution for mass market involving the leading Search provider for Web and Mobile experience.

Accountability for revenue, profitability and timely execution of all company’s activities for one of Polish Mobile Operators. Close cooperation with the client. Responsibility for supervision of sales, development, integration and maintenance of several bespoke Business Support Web-based applications, including Point of Sales, Self Care, Back Office and Call Centre. Direct management of over 35 persons.

Responsible for PLCM (Product LifeCycle Management) solution for OSS/OBS incl. budget, release planning, opportunities scanning, business requirements, competition analysis, business cases, product positioning. Sales and pre-sales support (customer presentations, solution discussions with customers). Project Management supervision of prototypes.

Project Management in EMEA region (mostly Middle East and North Africa). Several dozens of successfully led projects for Mobile Operators, both software and hardware related. Many >1M EUR projects, involving 30+ highly geographically distributed team members (China, India, Europe). Integration projects with 3rd party vendors and subcontractors. Responsibility for successful preparation for CMMI certification of the business unit.

Ramping up and leading several teams of Software Developers, and Documentation Engineers. Responsible for Quality Mamagement activities, enabling and training programs in the department. Technologies and tools: J2EE, UNIX, UML, SQL, LaTex, LyX

Responsible for Java programming, UML-based design and script-automated unit testing of the charging component of a Charging & Rating solution. Leading team of 5 developers and unit testers. Technologies and tools: J2EE, C, UNIX, SQL, Python, Ant, UML, XML, HTML/CSS, JSP, Eclipse.

Responsible for ULM-based design and Java programming of a CRM system. Technologies and tools: Java, C, UML, Windows NT, XML, Tomcat, HTML/CSS, JBoss.
