Über mich

Seeking opportunities to use my molecular biology and data analysis skills in projects that will improve human health and well-being to make a real difference in people's lives. Currently, as a final year Biology PhD Candidate, I investigate anatomical, functional, and metabolic effects of developmental temperature on brain wiring. I collaborate with an international team of scientists by planning, executing, and analyzing 3D imaging and functional experiments using Python and R. Let's connect and chat about how we can team up to drive positive change together!

    Research Associate

    Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz

Investigated the anatomical, functional and metabolic effects of developmental temperature on brain wiring - Independent experimental design and execution of anatomical, functional and molecular datasets (confocal and 2-photon microscopy) - Developed Python and R pipelines for 3D imaging analysis and connectome databases queries - Designed and performed molecular biology experiments (qRT-PCR) to set mechanistic hypothesis on affected pathways

  • 3 Jahre und 2 Monate, Aug. 2017 - Sep. 2020

    Research Associate

Thoroughly characterization of the brazilian kefir across genomic, metabolomic and peptidomic spheres. Collaborated on implementation of stingless bees in vitro cultivation to evaluate expression of epigenetic-related genes. Designed, performed, analyzed and communicated in vivo (D. melanogaster) and in vitro (E. coli) assays to evaluate toxicity of residual waste (insecticides and antimicrobial substances) in collaboration with the Chemistry Department.
