Global Advanced Analytics and Artificial Intelligence team. Title: The Smart Integration of a Fleet of Electric Vehicles into the Energy System. Tasks: Simulating in python the smart charging of a fleet of electric vehicles. Examining vehicle to grid (V2G), vehicle to building (V2B), the flexibility market, and the ancillary services in Europe. Evaluating the results from a variety of input scenarios.

Short term energy trading. Created VBA based tools for data processing and visualisations. Tools such as a template to import changes in large customers electricity consumption into the DeltaXE trading system. Also improving their wholesale market auction bidding process.

Flight test instrumentation for a turboprop-powered amphibious aircraft. I designed flight information displays for the systems engineer, set up project management software and created a wiki containing documentation.

Pre-university internship. In a business operations team providing technical pre-sale support to internal IBM sellers and business partners, I maintained and improved the communication systems, created reports, and ran events and internal television adverts to increase awareness of the technical pre-sale support offered by the department. I also ran IBM assessment centres and the induction week for the 2012 Future students.
