Research on the development of a rechargeable 3 V magnesium battery. We investigated and characterised electrolytes, cathode and anode materials for a reversible magnesium ion cell. One PhD and one master student were supervised in this project, which was a consortium with the Austrian Institute of Technology (AIT Mobility Department), the Light Metals Competence Center Ranshofen GmbH, AVL List GmbH, VARTA Micro Innovations GmbH and the TU Graz.
