Lead scrum team responsible for the payment, fraud and risk domain in a large cloud-native microservices implementation on GCP and part of the senior engineer group that supports all scrum teams during implementation. Coached junior team members, overhauled domain architecture and migrated legacy Akka-based microservices to Spring Boot. Lead initiative to increase code quality, resilience, performance and increased testing coverage from an average of 20-30% to 90%+.

Lead stream in a large cloud transformation program that provided Google Cloud Platform advisory services to various stakeholders, including development, logging, monitoring, infrastructure, business and operations. Organized advisory services and sessions, connected stakeholders and advisors, was responsible for reporting, tracking, gathering requirements, making sure that the SoW was respected, identifying stakeholders and keeping team members engaged and happy.

Lead team of Software Engineers for the implementation of a Cloud-Native app with Spring Boot and Angular. Set up all infrastructure on OpenShift, including API gateways, config servers, Jenkins, various utilities for backup, recovery and testing. Lead fronted development team first and setup the complete architecture, patterns, development guidelines and processes. Then lead the entire DevOps team from an engineering perspective responsible for implementation and architecture.

Set up the application infrastructure on Kubernetes with infrastructure as code for a Greenfield project including Jenkins with Docker-in-Docker capabilities to allow for complex build pipelines with multiple sidecar containers to cover build, testing and deployment. Lead backend development with Spring Boot, set up development processes and guidelines. Setup data migration capabilities to migrate databases through the applications with Flyway.

Lead scrum team driving the digitalization of the Compliance process with an app written with Spring Boot and React. Built a near-shore team from scratch, lead interviews, set up the development processes and guidelines. Responsible for the implementation of new functionality both as lead and hands-on Software Engineer. Gathered requirements, interfaced with the client, other teams and architects and served as deputy project manager.

Started as frontend dev for an iOS hybrid web application written with Angular. Then moved on to lead engineer role in a scrum team and
then became overall system engineer and frontend engineering lead of
40+ frontend developers. All throughout hands on implementation of various features, refactoring and optimization in a very large and complex banking application for relationship managers.
