Reporting to the Area Manager - Mineral Quay & Mine Infrastructure, responsibilities are inclusive of but not limited to: • Management of the contract, overseeing works of marine contractor; • Provision of engineering towards Infrastructure & Housing packages; • Coordination and supervision of site personnel; • Governance towards QA/QC function; • Client & contractor liaison; • Development of scope of works and specifications; & • Evaluating and assessing tenders.

Reporting to the Port Engineer, responsibilities were inclusive of but not limited to: • Managing contractor works for the wharf expansion, including headstock strengthening & deck replacement; • Overseeing contracts and claims process; • Liaising between contractor & operations teams to ensure minimal interference with shipping; • Leading auditing process to ensure quality, safety & contract requirements are adhered to; & • Assessment of structures and planning of maintenance activities.

Reporting to the Project Manager, responsibilities were inclusive of but not limited to: • Overseeing all site engineering works & design support for a 1.2km approach jetty • Supervision for a team of 16 engineers & 4 document controllers; • Design management for construction support; • Development of temporary works & construction procedures; • Coordination of planning & scheduling for site works; • Liaising with client for design and construction details;

Reporting to the Area Manager – Marine, responsibilities were inclusive of but not limited to: • Managing site geotechnical investigations & design support for a 4km long approach jetty; • Procurement of pre-funded long lead items; • Design support for engineering team; • Liaising with client, suppliers & other stakeholders; • Development for scope of works as well as tender evaluation & assessment; & • Alternate Cranes & Rigging Engineer duties as required.

Reporting to the Manager - Construction, responsibilities were inclusive of but not limited to: • Management for overall construction of a retaining wall in preparation for the AP4 project; • Establishment of procedures, policies & temporary works for the project; • Management for a team of 30 staff; & • Governance towards safety, financial and scheduling compliance.
