The SVP position has the global responsibility for the management and the development of the Bakery Applications business in GEA, to establish a world leading position as complete solution and process technology supplier to the bakery industry. The role has the complete business execution and P&L responsibility, including the transformation of the business model to ensure the achievement of business growth objectives, through definition and implementation of strategic plans.

The VP position has the responsibility to manage the technology platforms across 8 product groups – from processing to packaging – to provide specific and best-in-class expertise to the operating engineering functions, to foster innovation though new technologies scouting and their implementation into the next generation product development activities of the Business Area Equipment, with total sales of approx 2 bnEUR.

The executive position of COO in GEA Food Solutions (with approx. 340 mEUR sales in 2014) covers global responsibilities in Operations, including Supply Chain, Production in 4 main production sites (Germany and Holland), Project Management, Logistics, Engineering and Technologies - I led strategic initiatives in portfolio optimization, product development and cost reduction, supply chain improvements and business stabilization and significant cost base optimization through multi-site personnel reduction

Head of Homogenizers BU Member of the Management Board of GEA Mechanical Equipment Segment within GEA Group, since 01.10.2009; the segment board is composed of 8 members (Segment President, CFO, heads of 6 Business Units, HR). The ME segment reported revenues of approx. 845 mEUR in 2011

MD and member of the Board of Directors since 2007. The company design, manufacture and market worldwide High Pressure Homogenizers and Plunger Pumps and is worldwide leader with revenues of 50 mEUR in 2011. I have developed and implemented the company strategy to consolidate the technology leadership and to expand in adjacent markets for further business opportunities (e.g. biotech, nutraceuticals, nanotechnologies) to extend and differentiate the product for emerging markets and high-end applications

Head of BU Homogenizers, member of the Management Board of GEA Process Equipment Division within GEA Group, since 01.01.2008; the division board is composed of 6 members (Division President, CFO, heads of 4 Business Units). The Division reported revenues of approx. 600 mEUR in 2008

In charge of all technical operational responsibility and reporting to the managing director, with coordination of Mechanical & Electrical engineering, R&D and After Sales. Planning of the technical activity of the company, definition of new products, reporting and budgeting for the management; support for sales and main contact for key accounts.

R&D Manager with responsibility of standardization of machine design and development of new solutions. Design of a new high efficiency homogenizing valve, still part of the technology know-how of the company, which has been patented worldwide. Development of technology-specific fluid-dynamic calculation tools, formalization and documentation of technology know-how and application expertise.

Employed at the end of 1993 as design engineer in the technical department, reporting to Technical Director. Project & Product Manager for a new lab unit, to complete design, engineering for production and follow up on the market. Since the end of 1994, in charge of technical after sales support and troubleshooting, following installations abroad and supporting the sales network for custom solutions, machines configurations, plant integration.
