Researcher at SURF and a PhD candidate at the Institute for Urban Planning and European Urban Studies at RWTH Aachen University in Germany. Cities of inclusion — spaces of justice have always fascinated me. I investigate the relationship between urban form and socio-economic processes. My research focuses on the intersection between urban form and urban justice for the creation of inclusive cities. Being educated as architect and urbanist I emphasize on working through the scales, from the building to the city. In my research, I focus on evidence-based urban practice by integrating advanced spatial analytical tools such as space syntax to define spatial and socio-economic performances of built environments. Further fields of interest: urban justice- segregation- neighborhood effect- cities and technology- regeneration- urban sociology- space syntax - inclusion
