When I joined Borg Warner Morse TEC, leading company in the chain timing system business, I started practicing engineering, from CAD drawing to bench testing. My task was to develop new timing chain products for the new engine programs of the major OEMs acting worldwide on the global scenario. In this position, I started to get familiar with the automotive development process, including timing and cost planning, product and process validation and kick-off, quality requirements.
