Responsible for underwriting new middle market term loan and lease deals collateralized by fixed assets within the transportation, construction, and general industrial sectors. Complete ownership of proposed transactions including financial statement analysis, deal structuring & modeling, legal documentation, industry research, and written & verbal communication of risk opinion to GE investment committee for all transactions larger than $500,000. Possess single pen investment authority of $3,000,000.

Responsible for soliciting new business from both the existing base as well as developing new customers within an assigned territory. In additional to team sales calls with Branch personnel and individually developed personal cold calls, was also responsible to review all financial information and make recommendations for approval to the appropriate credit officers. Worked closely with C-level management of customers, as well as, other areas of the Bank to offer complete value added financial services.

Duties included complete oversight of proposed transactions including underwriting, documentation, and delinquency review of the rapidly growing portfolio of floor plan and retail transactions, all of which exceeded $300MM in growth within 12 months. Work closely with sales to create value-added deal structures and BDO's to create an appropriate framework to manage all aspects of the relationship with the manufacturer, which included credit structures, loss mitigation, residual setting, and loss pools.
