Michael Geßner

One one hand I am responsible for Accounting and Billing for Vattenfall Germany customers on SAP IS-U. We strongly focus on regulatory requirements, flexibility of customer offerings and (non)-commodity billing offers. On the other hand I am head of Vattenfall IT Robotics Process Automation (RPA) Competence Center. My team delivers a full service RPA IT package of System Infrastructure, System and License Management, Consulting, Development and Application Maintenance/Support.

SAP IS-U Billing & Accounting for Vattenfall als Supplier and Stromnetz Berlin als Gridowner, (SAP IS-U Tarif Design, Netznutzungs- und MeMi- invoicing, Vertragskontokorrent, DSO-Zahlungsverkehr, Bilanzielle Abgrenzung etc.) Major objectives: - Enable more individual pricing for Sales - Ensure effective implementation of regulatory requirements - Reduce cost-to-serve for standard processes - Offer (non)-commodity billing

Lead of a cost center with planning, result, personnel and quality responsibility • 15 employees in Europe / revenue responsibility • Acquisition and implementation of new internal and external customer orders • Responsibility and partially direct control of national and international projects • Service Level management of approximately 20 applications • Consultant at Vattenfall Business Council to solutions and processes in ECM • Project manager coaching and mentoring

Management of a profit center with planning, profit, personnel and quality responsibility • 20 employees / revenue responsibility • Control and coordination of all projects of the team as part of a multiproject management • Significantly involved in the selection, design and construction Livelink ECM platform for all of Vattenfall • Development and management of IT Vattenfall ECM Competence Center • Planning, development and operation of applications in ECM environment
