• Responsible for managing the Finance, HR, IT, Legal & Customer Support functions for the Group • Migration of the Finance function from Norway to Germany and enhancing the team with experienced professionals • CEO (“Geschaftsführer”) of GmbH including responsibility for hiring & firing of staff, & restructuring according to social plan • Implementation of strong reporting structures & internal control procedures across the Group, including HR policies, and budgeting and forecasting processes

• Established the Group legal and tax structure and closed the seed round of financing (c. €1 m.) • Undertook due diligence for the acquisition of 5 services companies (each with c. €1 - 5 m turnover; 30 - 100 employees) • Implemented strong “earn-out” structures for the acquired companies & ensured that each had a smooth integration process into the Group • Built up the finance function and managed the reporting at Board / shareholder level on a monthly basis

• Responsible for all aspects of management of the finance, legal and HR functions • Designed and implemented innovative web-based tools to facilitate investor database tracking and remote due diligence access • Established a number of key strategic business development partnerships with Tier 1 vendors (BT, MCI, Sprint, Nokia, The Cloud) • Recruited high calibre executives, including VP Business Development, Corporate Legal Counsel & FD

• Created a portfolio of companies ranging from seed investments to listed companies • Provided private equity, board representation, management assistance and fund raising for a number of these companies • Sought banking license for a Hungary-based financial institution • Concurrent positions as a Board director for number of start-up enterprises

• Selected and recruited by blue chip investors to prepare the company for IPO or trade sale • Streamlined group finance, legal and HR functions • Re-structured, downsized and implemented effective cost control systems to achieve major cost savings • Recruited high calibre executives, including new CEO and VP for Sales and Marketing • Worked with CEO to re-structure and ‘mothball’ the operations until market conditions improved
