Ing. Miguel Angel Muñoz Guerrero

Part of a big international team that develops a big project for a global leader in the chemical industry. Interface and coordination between different parties and different disciplines, as well as different companies, my main duty is to develop constructive interactions, providing technical knowledge, communication and organizational skills to find the best solution to satisfy the needs to favour the interest of the parties.

As a fundamental part of an international team and collaborating with different departments of the company, I focus on the analysis of the production processes and its improvement, based on the Lean philosophy and at a GMP standard level. Starting from a bottleneck analysis of a plant, we designed and implemented a new equipment that, after a detailed FMEA analysis and a reorganization of the production, produced an improvement of an 80% in the production of that plant with a small investment.

In my first industrial experience, I started introducing some Lean tools such as TPM and later on, I restructured the whole supply chain, getting a reduction on the ratio stock/sells at the same time that the breaks of stock were eliminated. Additionally, managing different parts of a production company such as maintenance, gave me additional experience and knowledge on common pneumatic and electronic components as a part of automated production lines.

Evaluated and recognized as a Registered Education Provider by the PMI, the Master in Project Management from OBS provides professionals with the needed skills, knowledge and tools to manage projects efficiently and effectively, as well as managing human and material resources.

It is the most extensive technical university studies in Spain. Among the subjects studied are: Mechanics, Automatics, Electronics and Production management.
