I had an own project for three months which was focused on colour reproduction with high quality printing papers.

Worked as a shift supervisor in Stora Enso paper mill in Kotka. There were 25 subordinants and into my responsibilities belonged 1 paper machine and 2 impregnation machines.

Worked part of summer as researcher and part of a summer as a head of a pulp laboratory in research centre of UPM-Kymmene in Kuusankoski.

I was working pulp mill's digester house as an assistant. I was in response from chipstock to bleaching department in the "field". I also participated adjusting the process. I also collected samples to laboratory.

During the summer I worked in coating machine and I had to control one part of the machine. In the winder I was working as an assistant and I was in response of winded rolls and their logistics to warehouse and sheeters.

My work included researching production in paper sheeting department. My primary job was to find reasons why sheeters were not running time to time and how we could improve running times and production. Secondary job was to improve packaging product policy. We created a new program to count packaging consumption. It helped their packaging policy a lot.

I was working in the re-reeler which lies before coating machine. Primary job was remove all the non-quality-paper and fix faults that came from the paper machine. Secondary job was to control quality of the paper and report to paper machine if there where serious faults in the paper quality.
