I Interfaced the real robot’s hardware with the Robot Operating System (ROS) using C++ and ROS control. I Implemented SLAM using the gmapping package, and autonomous navigation using the navigation stack and python. I implemented a RetinaNet object detector and trained it on the Pascal VOC and WIDERFACE datasets, using pytorch and fastai, and object tracking by using the previous model in conjunction with the Simple online real time tracking (SORT) algorithm. Mark: 17.5/20
