The topic of my research are deflated and augmented Krylov subspace methods for solving sequences of linear systems with an application to Lattice QCD. In addition, I give exercise courses in Numerical Linear Algebra and in Parallel Algorithms in English for master students.
I was an ESR (Early Stage Reseracher) at the Bergische Universität Wuppertal. My work was funded by STRONGnet, a Marie Curie Initial Training Network within the European Commission's Seventh Framework Programme (FP7). The topic of my research were deflated and augmented Krylov subspace methods for solving sequences of linear systems with an application to Lattice QCD. In addition, I gave exercise courses in Numerical Linear Algebra and in Parallel Algorithms in English for master students.

Many problems in engineering, numerical simulations in physics etc. require the solution of long sequences of slowly changing linear systems. We have developed two methods that reduce costs of subsequent systems by recycling an approximate invariant subspace.
