Develop new calculation methods for evaluating the energy demand of auxiliary devices in the wind turbine. Design and execute measurement campaigns, which are used to analyze different wind turbine & farm grid characteristics such as the reaction of frequency change. Mathematical evaluation of the measurement results using different software programs like MATLAB, FAMOS etc. for further improvement of the control system of the wind turbine and the wind farm.

Load flow calculation in distribution grid

Provided support to the R&D department on developing new prototypes and measurement adapters for testing and measurement purposes. Hardware and basic software development was performed based on microcontroller and IC. Examination of different measurement methods was executed to determine the best practices for detection of partial discharge in HV cables. Conducted foreign market researches for several products.

Gained knowledge in maintaining grid stability, involving Automatic Generation Control (AGC) and Area Control Error (ACE) based on the national and international grid code requirements. First experience in remote switching operations of circuit breakers.
