In a nutshell, I am responsible for the development and implementation of Talent Acquisition Strategies, processes and tools across locations worldwide. Specialising in Talent Attraction, Development and Retention I work within the Turbo Division to drive best practice in support of our Local Accountability / Global Strength business model. The emphasis of the role is to develop the BorgWarner Talent Pool through Smart Sourcing of candidates internally, and externally to the BorgWarner group.

To perform HR related duties at a professional level and to take on responsibilities in employee relations, training and development, resourcing, payroll, health and safety, employment law, change management and communications. To ensure that all actions are accomplished in a consistent, fair and non-discriminatory manner in accordance with company policies and legislation.

Part time work over a number of years to gain experience in an office environment and to develop transferrable skills. Projects I worked on included; Filing, banking and secretarial tasks, Reorganisation of Newark and Sleaford offices filing systems, Cleaning and maintenance, Worked as part of a two-man team and larger groups, Updating IT networks and used application software.

Delivery manager in the Stonegate Store, York. On a daily basis my role was to manage the Delivery Department and co-ordinate with Shopfloor departments. I undertook a number of tasks including; Acting store manager , Administration (banking and filing), Customer Service including sales, returns and complaints, Team Management including training and development, Staff Management including daily and weekly rotas, Day to day operations in all departments, Organising deliveries, Cash handling and balancing.
