    Master Thesis

    Compact Power Motion GmbH

    Worked on thermal management of electric motors. Created a unique modular thermal model to predict temperature distribution in an electric motor under different conditions. Used a combination of MATLAB Simscape and MS Office Programs to create a user friendly interface to analyze motor thermal conditions under different specifications and conditions. Lumped parameter analysis used to predict the active temperature in an electric motor.

    Designed an industrial 6-Axis robotic arm using SolidWorks and fabricated it using additive manufacturing. Conducted a stress analysis as well as a thermal analysis upon it as part of an interdisciplinary research project.

    Research Intern

    The University of Edinburgh

    Conducted CFD analysis and heat transfer modelling of falling liquid films exchanging heat with rising gas flows in constricted channels with the help of ANSYS CFX. This was used in a heat exchanger for an innovative long-term energy storage model.
