As part of the Engineering group which is in charge of managing the Vodafone Italia IT Infrastructure I take care of evaluating and implementing routing and firewall rules on different types of devices, such as Cisco PIX/ASA, Checkpoint or Juniper firewalls, cisco routers and switches. Other tasks concern the configuration of VPNs lan-to-lan or client-to-lan, troubleshooting on existing services and network design for new services.
