I learned the basics of the steel industry. • Furnace components, kinds, and how each of them works. • Iron scrap melting and testing techniques. • Differences in steel properties resulting from changes in raw materials. • I could also observe the testing procedure in the labs built inside the factory, which provided a specific description of the tested sample composition.
