Brainstorming is a very effective technique for generating ideas and increasing the creativity of working groups. However, its inherent lack of structure concerning the contributions makes extracting the insights challenging and effort-intensive. This limits the practicability of brainstorming in large groups where many contributions are expected. Our application brAInstorm addresses precisely this issue by automatically clustering the contributions.

Design of a laboratory experiment for Prof. Quade's IT security module. The lab experiment is an attack-defense style CTF. The previously used software was analyzed, redesigned and re-implemented. The new system consists of a front end, a back end and databases (Redis and SQL). The new backend uses FastAPI, a Python web framework, to provide a REST API. It enables the management of the game as well as the monitoring and evaluation of the participating game clients. The frontend was implemented in Vue3.
