• Oversaw prototype development and implementation from hardware selection to usability studies. Managed all operational and business functions. Spearheaded funding strategy, including business plans, projections and other materials for scientific grant and venture backed capital.

• Pitched and implemented the AI Cognitive Computing Lab, from path definition to supporting processes and infrastructure. Yearly cycles included all planning, talent acquisition, enabling technologies and prioritization, resulting in several internal solutions and three patents awarded.

• Drove strategic development and operationalization of Knowledge Management (KM) and Innovation initiatives as part of a multi-million, multi-year effectiveness transformation effort. Created a dynamic set of intelligent tools to facilitate knowledge sharing and access to information, including taxonomies, knowledge bases, search and legacy systems integration.

• Determined KM Department goals and strategy; led team to evaluate and enhance sources and methods for capturing knowledge, staff expertise, and relevant industry information in alignment with business goals; mentored, trained and motivated new team members and interns. • Engaged cross-functional committees and departments to create an internal infrastructure that embraced knowledge sharing.

• Designed, executed and supervised data control projects as well as cyclical maintenance of social services database that resulted in improved data quality and adoption by 311 system. • Collaborated with senior-level representatives from city agencies on implementation of proprietary services database software, including installation logistics and training of hundreds of staff.
