As Client Executive my responsibilities included cross brand (hardware, software, services) revenue and profit responsibility for a key banking clients territory in Switzerland.

After I gained this valuable sales experiences I got the chance to build up and lead a financial services practice. This included defining the strategic direction, hiring of talents (about 20 employees after three years) and acquisition of consulting projects. During this time I was member of the leadership team of the IBM Consulting Group and member of the qualification Board of IBM Switzerland for the evaluation of promotions into the senior professions.

I gained my first sales experience as a member of an integrated account team responsible for a large global Swiss banking client. Successful development of my sales experience resulted in my role as deputy account manager and responsibility for the revenue (hardware, software and services) in Switzerland for this global banking account.

During my first six years at IBM, I pursued a technical career, specializing in middleware technologies and object-oriented application development. As a personal highlight of this period, a one year stage at IBM Research in Rüschlikon where I programmed a solution for a large insurance company based on research technology.
