Led the establishment of Bronswerk Marine’s European operations following a period of detailed analysis on all aspects of the European ship building market. As General Manager, recruited highly skilled staff from competitors and developed the sales pipeline for the operation. Assumed responsibility for growing global sales in the marine segment for Bronswerk, including management of sales offices in Canada, United States, Germany, China and a network of agents in other countries.

Began as a Project Engineer in 1990; rose rapidly through the company to oversee more than 120 engineers and logisticians, with responsibility for productivity improvement, change management and supply chain integration across all of Loblaw’s operations, including manufacturing, transportation, distrubtion/warehousing and retail operations. Loblaw Companies is Canada’s largest retailer with more than 1,400 outlets and sales in 2012 of C$31.6 billion.
