• Extension of my master thesis by integrating the project's district heating network database using Django for modeling and efficient management of real-time network data • Simulation of the consumption scale in the district heating network and provision of results to support the implementation of Model Predictive Control to optimize producer control and identify bottlenecks • Development of a framework for the future integration of real-time data to improve network modeling and simulation capabilities

Topic: Thermo-Hydraulic Simulation of District Heating Network: A Multi-Producer Modelling Approach • Contributed to the BMWK funded WOpS project, optimizing district heating network performance. • Performed thermo-hydraulic simulations on the Weil am Rhein network using Python based network calculation tool Pandapipes. • Developed and validated a multi-producer modeling strategy to optimize heat distribution. • Validated simulation models against real-world data for seasonal performance.

An interdisciplinary program emphasizing sustainable energy systems, resilience engineering, and sustainable materials. It also provides foundational knowledge across areas such as climate change, environmental and natural resource management, project management for engineers, and other critical sustainability topics. Through partnerships with Fraunhofer Institutes, the program integrates engineering with sustainability, offering hands-on research opportunities and industry collaboration.
