My PhD has been carried out at the Institute of Microelectronics and Microsystems in Catania (IMM-CNR), in collaboration with the University of Catania. Moreover, during my PhD I have had an internship of 9 months in the laboratories of TUDelft. My work was focalized on the synthesis of carbon nanotubes produced by arc- discharge in liquid environment and in their structural, electrical and optical characterization. The results of my works have in part already been published in international journals.
