Launched a new luxury real estate advertising website which is the low price leader with the most innovative offerings.

Recruited to help make improvements to a less-than-optimal Agile launch and to lead packaging cost savings and innovations.  Identified $82K savings in the first quarter.  Cleaned up the packaging and finished good specs in Agile which reduced data entry time by 93%.  Separated packaging component specs from the printed components which eliminated the need for engineer involvement in frequent graphics changes.

Responsible for all product development, creation of all product specifications, identification of suppliers, all purchasing and accounts receivable duties, setting of sales pricing, creation of product descriptions and product catalog, all finance and IT activities including website management.

Hired as the company’s first Packaging Development Engineer with the goal of building a Packaging Development department based on best practices for process, innovation and cost savings.  Delivered $228K savings in the first quarter and on track to deliver an additional $2.8MM in FY2016.  Built a more robust plant trial process with documentation which is more inclusive of all departments.  Led the identification of a new specification and document management system

Recruited to bring new leadership and focus to Pharmavite’s Packaging Engineering (PE) organization. Define and manage department’s overall direction, manage Packaging Lab and five engineers. Serve as in-house subject matter expert and primary contact for all PE issues.

Manage package development projects on numerous product lines. Responsible for development of new and redesigned packaging on all brands to maintain a fresh appearance and strong shelf impact.

Manage package development projects on multiple Herbalife lines. Assist with packaging development, line trials, shipping tests, product launches and re-launches, label changes, computer system implementations, and cost savings projects. Create and maintain accurate packaging specifications for global markets. Coordinate and attend plant trials and serve as primary packaging contact for company’s China plant. Assist Manufacturing group with improving Packaging operations.

Managed all package development functions across several product lines. Directed new, redesigned, and club store package projects and worked with numerous resources (Marketing, Graphics, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Project Management, and outside vendors) to develop appealing, functional, and cost-effective packaging. Spearheaded development on all packaging components for new product line. Created and updated packaging specifications.

Managed packaging projects from concept to implementation. Designed, developed, and tested innovative new product packaging; initiated, planned, and conducted plant trials to verify packaging performance in production and distribution environments; supervised testing of new, modified, and developmental packaging designs.
