I co-founded the charity cycling4climate.nl aimed at creating impact for sustainability, not by mere fundraising, but with carbon commitments by all participants (year 1: 30+; year 2: 700+; year 3: 1000+ participants). Our ClimateClassic events (cycling 400km in 1 day, either by yourself or as estafette) pretty much turned into networking events with cycle-loving politicians, scientists, and business people.
