Analysis of large population-based cohorts e.g. Gutenberg Health Study, Mainz area, Germany; and BiomarCaRE (former Monica and Morgam) cohorts. My research focused on cardiovascular diseases and gender differences with an emphasis on atrial fibrillation and its predictors.

Data analysis, interpretation and presentation in response to internal and external requests for information. Specialist advice and guidance on health intelligence issues including the development and analysis of health related data sets and information.

Data extraction, statistical analyses and report writing in response to requests from health professionals and researchers to support policy makers and key stakeholders. Surveillance and monitoring of population trends, utilising spreadsheets, maps and analytical tools identifying vulnerable local populations, marginalised groups and describing local health inequalities, and supporting equality and diversity analyses.
