Design and development of physical layer for 3G/4G modem. Integration and debugging support for bring up of many modem solutions supporting 3GPP release Rel-9 up to Rel-14. Deep dive debugging of the issues using Lauterbach Trace32 and trace utilities. Providing fixes and patches on time critical issues to unblock various issues to enable further testing by multiple teams.

Bug fixing and analysis of the issues reported by the customers and internal test teams. Integration support and bring up support of multiple HW platforms using ARM and IA architecture. Integration support for modem solutions with Android Application processors used by the customers. Customer support and handling of the costumer conference calls and providing customer reports. Handling of the external ODC teams. Deep understanding of the Multi SIM 3GPP protocol stack solutions.

Design, development and module testing of FACH state of Physical layer of 3GPP Release-99 protocol stack for 3G modem using C and RTKE RTOS. Implementation of adaptation layer to ingrate physical layer with external Access Stratum of UE side of Rel-99 protocol stack. Integration support for the Physical layer with the other modules like Firmware and higher layers in Le Mans in France. Bug fixing of the issues found during conformance and field test of the modem by internal and customer teams.

Contributed with a team of around 20 people to launch the Phone in the USA market with the Verizon network. Contributed with my 3GPP protocol knowledge by collaborating with the supplier in addressing the issues faced in GSM/GPRS and CDMA 2000 Phone.

Contributed in implementing the adaptation layer between Layer 1 from supplier with the in house protocol stack containing other higher layers of 2G/3G supporting Rel-99 UE. Supported integration and validation and bug fixing activities of the UE software.

Design and development of porting layer to integrate 3G protocol stack on the customer Hardware along with the physical layer in C using Nucleus RTOS. Development of Mobility Management (MM) module for 3GPP Rel-99 UE solution supporting 3G. Review, bug fixing and maintenance of the MM module code.
