• Responsible for management of NAVTEQ’s Professional Services in the automotive area including project mangement of customer projects • Supported Sales with techncial pre-sales and solution architectures and aligned with product management on customer requirements • Designed and implemented customer specific solutions using NAVTEQ’s products and services

• Responsible for project management of an automotive multi-media & navigation system • Responsible for design and implementation of a software architecture for a distributed automotive multi-media & navigation system, ranging from low-level system drivers to applications.

• Specified customer requirements for an automotive multi-media & navigation system • Designed and implemented key components, such as routing and guidance for an automotive navigation solution • Software was written for an embedded operating system (QNX) using C/C++

• End to End responsible for project management, architecture, design, implementation and test of an off-board navigation application as well as telematic services for POI search and dynamic route planning using SMS based communication • Managed a team of 5 engineers to deliver an inovative solution within an agressive time schedule.

• Responsible for the design, implementation, test and maintenance of software modules to partion routing data for an automotive navigation solution. • All software modules had to be designed to run in a distributed server environment using SUN OS, C and a proprietary database.
