A Community Ambassador is an engaging volunteer who acts as a bridge between international newcomers to a neighborhood and the local community. Many people feel most comfortable at first connecting with someone who speaks their own language and/or understands their own culture. The aim of SIVO is to support the process of integrating international residents through volunteer work.

The organisation «Study Guide Luzern» provides the Survival Guide for 4'000 students starting their studies each year in the Canton of Lucerne. Being an independent voice for the students, I review locations to eat, drink, and relax from studies all the while offering practical student tips. This work involves the writing and setting up of the guide each year as well as acquiring interested parties to promote their businesses to the students.

With regard to the formation of the new business unit «Online Marketing and Communication» in the foreseeable future, I stayed within the Swiss Paraplegic Foundation after my internship. During this time, I was strongly involved in the digital transformation within the NPO.
