During my research, I evaluated if O3 and O3/H2O2 can alter the adsorption potential of micro polymers present in water environments. PE, PP and PS microplastics were characterized by X-ray Diffractometry (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM) and Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), and two model pesticides were used as adsorbents.
