In this position, I have been given many responsibilities that make me a well-rounded employee. I oversee the creation of a Net Sales and a Cost of Goods Sold report for the owners' monthly financial review. I prepare monthly bank reconciliations for our main operating account and our Euro denomination account. Along with that, I prepare and analyze a weekly sales and expenses report for cash monitoring purposes. Lastly, I have the daily responsibility of coding our supplier invoices.

I was tasked with creating a database in excel to help the Finance team budget for their next project. I used the data for their previous contract as a template and built the database to fit the companies needs. The database was kept current by imputing their new invoices and their estimates for items we had not been invoiced for yet. By completion, we used the database to create a budget for our upcoming contract.

In my position, I helped low-income people, elderly taxpayer and military personnel in the State of Vermont file their federal and state income taxes. I interviewed and gathered their information in order to file their taxes, afterwards, I would let them know their refund or how much they owed. Our goal was to assist low-people by filing their taxes for free in order to make their lives a little easier.
