I'm a UX Designer with 10+ years' experience. Currently I’m working at mySugr / Roche to create better experiences for people with diabetes. Before that I worked at Microsoft. My educational background is in Human-Computer Interaction Design, and I also got a MA in Digital Management from the creative business school Hyper Island.

I'm currently working on a significant new feature for the popular mySugr app (> 3 million users) that allows to safely control an insulin pump. Before, I redesigned how medical devices can be connected with the app, which increased the success rate of the first attempt from 73% to 83%.
I worked on innovative digital health solutions, i.e. an app that uses artificial intelligence to predict blood sugar, and an app for emerging markets to measure blood sugar with the camera. I also initiated an innovation lab in Berlin where we ran design sprints and co-created solutions with patients.
I worked at Bing Maps (now: Azure Maps), the enterprise social network Yammer, and as a UX Consultant for business apps developed with strategic partners like BASF, Boehringer Ingelheim, Daimler, European Patent Office, Metro, SAP, Volksbank, Würth and others. I was also part of the team that developed RWE SmartHome (now: Livisi SmartHome), a popular home automation solution in Germany.
