Tracy Cote

I am delighted to be part of the StockX team, a Detroit-based, global technology leader focused on the large and growing online market for sneakers, apparel, electronics, accessories, and collectibles. As chief people officer, I lead the global HR team, including training and development, engagement, total rewards, and talent recruitment. I previously served as chief people officer at Zenefits, where I co-authored the best selling book, People Operations. Throughout my career, I have held leadership roles at companies including Genesys, MobiTV, Inc., and Organic Inc. A member of the Forbes HR Council since 2019, I am passionate about the impact of inclusive business cultures and spent more than 10 years as a member of the faculty at San Francisco State University, where I demystified HR management for newcomers to the field. A California native, I received my bachelor’s degree in English from Sonoma State University and now reside in the San Francisco Bay Area with my family.
